Frequently Asked Questions
Designed to provide clarity and support every step of your AgroRenew journey.
Step 1: Apply
Our application process is driven by our culture, values, and standards. By being transparent and flexible from the very beginning, we strive to create a positive experience for candidates while showcasing our commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
Before you apply
How can I make sure my application stands out?
Everyone who applies is given the same time and consideration. But there are a few things you can do to ensure your application shines. First, do your research and let us know why you’re interested in working with us. We love to see cover letters, portfolios, as well as CVs/resumes as this gives us a better sense of who you are and what you’re passionate about. Second, pay close attention to our different job descriptions and only apply for the roles you’re truly interested in or that align with your experience.
I know someone who works at AgroRenew. Can they refer me?
Sure, reach out to them before you apply. They can submit your details internally, so don’t forget to send them your CV/resume and any other info you think they’ll need.
Can I connect with people
who work in the department
I want to join?
Yes. We can’t give out team member contact information but please feel free to send them a LinkedIn message and connect with them there.
I want to re-apply for a role.
Is that OK?
If the role is still open, and it’s been at least six months since your last interview – go ahead. You’re welcome to apply for other open positions too.
After you apply
I've applied! How long does
it take to hear back?
We try to get back to everyone within a few weeks of applying. With more popular roles, this may take a bit longer. So please, bear with us!
Can I check the status of
my application?
We can’t give updates, no. But rest assured, we review every application we receive and will let you know either way what the outcome will be as soon as possible.
Step 2: Interview
Flexible interviewing is an exploratory approach to hiring versus an evaluative one.
The goal is to identify Best Fit candidates by exploring their skills, culture expectations, values, and how they think in a non-threatening manner.
How it works
I've got an interview. What can
I expect?
The process usually goes a little something like this. First, you’ll have a video or telephone interview with one of our recruiters – a chat about you, the role, and your background. If all goes well, we’ll invite you for a second interview with one or two members of the team. The final round usually involves meeting multiple Team Members across the company. Don’t worry – we’ll let you know who they are at every stage, and well before time. If there are multiple interviewers, one will lead and the others will shadow. This approach allows you to meet more people across the company, and get a good feel for things, whilst also letting more Team Members be part of the interview process. Win-win.
I've got a virtual interview.
Will this impact my chances?
Simply put, it shouldn’t! We understand that interviewing over video chat is far from ideal, so don’t worry, we won’t sweat the small stuff.
Can I get feedback on my interview?
We know how important feedback can be for ongoing career development, so we’ll always do our best to provide it when and where we can. There may be some instances where giving detailed feedback just isn’t possible, but we’ll let you know if this is the case.
How to prepare
How can I prepare for my interview?
Yes, we want you to show us you’re great at what you do. But we’re also considering a few other things: Do your values align with our values? Do you take ownership of your work and take pride in what you deliver? Are you adaptable? Are you collaborative? Are you driven? These are the questions we’ll be asking ourselves as we interview you. Make it easy for us to see how well you answer them.
Does AgroRenew provide reasonable accommodations during the interview process?
Of course! Please do reach out to your recruiter or recruitment coordinator about any additional needs you may have. We’re always happy to help and will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Step 3: Decision
During the final step of our hiring process, we are tasked with making a very important decision. If you like what you see, and we like what we hear, we’ll officially invite you to join our team.
When will I hear back after my final interview?
We’ll try our best to get back to you within a few days, although this can sometimes take a little longer if multiple candidates are interviewing for the same role. Feel free to follow up with your recruiter after the interview and reach out with any questions you may have.
What kind of compensation package do you offer?
Your recruiter will fill you in on all the exciting details of your individual offer. In the meantime, you can read about our team member perks and benefits, right here.
Can I get feedback on my interview?
We know how important feedback can be for ongoing career development, so we’ll always do our best to provide it when and where we can. There may be some instances where giving detailed feedback just isn’t possible, but we’ll let you know if this is the case.
